Peter Holmes
Peter has extensive marketing, advertising, and design experience
in most major business categories and across international borders,
from global brands to startups, as well as philanthropic work and
political change.
He's listed in Marketing Magazine’s 'Power List' of the most influential people in Canadian communications. For several years he appeared at the top of Strategy Magazine’s creative report card list of the best Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Writers, in all 3 categories, at the same time. He's received some 500 awards from all major, international advertising and design award shows, including Cannes, The Clios, The One Show, NY Art Director's Club, London International, Graphis,
The Andy's, and Communication Arts. He's judged and chaired several awards schemes including being the first Canadian judge of
The One Show.
Peter's work has appeared in university textbooks throughout the world, NBC’s and BBC’s ‘World’s Funniest Commercials’, and in the UK’s Campaign Magazine coffee table book, ‘The Signs of our Times’, of which a billboard he wrote and art directed was cited as one of history’s best.
His work was curator selected and included in the inaugural and permanent advertising collection of The Royal Ontario Museum
and included in The Canadian Graphic Design History Project.
